SOS Kids
Some parents enjoy SOS as "grown-up time," while others choose to make it a family weekend. If you're bringing your kids to SOS, we have resources to help you.
Pick-up our mini-activity book with puzzles, maze, and a scavenger hunt of questions to help your kids engage with the art. Get yours at the Kids' Art Show or download and print your own. [.pdf kids activity booklet].
Which studios are good for children? That question is so different for every family and every kid. Only YOU know what's right for your kid and your family. If this is an important question for you, preview the artists on-line before you go.
Other Parents can help! Connect with other parents and see what they found worked for their kids. Many families find that by teaming up, parents can split time taking kids for a run outside while another parent has some quiet time with the art and artists.
Meet up with other parents at SOS's Somerville Kids' Art Show.

Submitting Art
We are reprising the Kids' Art Show at the Armory Cafe this year, and we're accepting submissions now! The Kids Show coordinators (Elena Clamen and Kelly Richter) are accepting 8"x10" 2D artworks from artists age 14 and under. Please do not matte or frame the art. We request a $2 donation to cover the cost of a matte.
Labeling: Please label the back of the art with the artist's name and age; title of the art; parent's name, and contact info.
Place submitted art into sealed, labeled plastic bins on the coordinators' front porches.
Deadline is Sunday, April 24, 2016.
Elena Clamen: 52 Bay State Ave
Kelly Richter: 5 Bond Street
