2016 Artists' Choice Show
At the Somerville Museum
All Somerville Open Studios 2016 member artists will be invited to take part in this group show at the Somerville Museum. Each year we hear extensive feedback that visitors chose which studios to go see based in part on the work in the Artists' Choice Show. The opening reception provides a great opportunity to meet other artists and see each other's work. It's one of our largest social events of the year.

Volunteer Appreciation Show
Hosted by our friends at Diesel in Davis Square
To showcase the artwork of the many volunteers who make SOS happen, to express appreciation for your hours and efforts, and to demonstrate to the community at large what a group of volunteers coming together can create, the Volunteer Appreciation Show enters its sixth year in 2016. Participation open to SOS volunteers only. The opening reception is open to the public and allows volunteers to meet each other and our wonderful community. Pieces to be entered have no size limit suitable for a cafe setting, and ready to hang.

Stroll by and stop to enjoy this pop-up juried group show by SOS artists on the theme of "Greetings from Somerville / Wish You Were Here." On view 24/7.
Curated and created by SOS and the Somerville Arts Council, this exhibit is viewed by thousands of passers-by each day in what is probably the most publicly accessible art-display in Somerville.
