Artist's Statement

I paint things that interest me. Sometimes these paintings can be grouped into series around a central idea and sometimes the pieces stand alone.

I work in a realistic style. I believe that realism is still important as a means of visual communication and storytelling.

My themes are drawn from all around - from the landscape of my childhood, to the beautiful urban environment in which I live today.
