Artist's Statement

This year marks our fourth Healey Art Festival and Silent Auction, Sunday, May 1 from 2-5 pm. Silent Auction closes at 4, raffle and activities run until 5. Auction items include 2 tickets to see Hamilton on Broadway, a ride to school on a Somerville Fire Truck, Red Sox tickets, a week of camp at Parts and Crafts, dinner for 2 at The Tasting Counter, and more! We hope to raise $16,000, all of which will go toward funding arts enrichment opportunities for students: offsite learning experiences at Nature’s Classroom and Red Gate Farm, artists-in-residence, in-school assemblies, and the Lunchtime Concert Series. We will showcase collaborations between local artists and Healey students. The festival will feature a silent auction and raffle, finger foods and desserts, live music, student art, and several collaborative art projects to be created that day for our whole community to enjoy.
