Artist's Statement

I use fabric, paper, and other materials to make quilts, bags, and other art- and craft-work. I also take photographs, with favorite subjects being plants, animals, and abstract colorfields. I love to work with bright colors and geometric forms to see how they interact with each other in unexpected ways. I also love to explore shape and composition, randomness and serendipity.
