Artist's Statement

While primarily a painter/printmaker, I also enjoy experimenting with digital media, which allows me to combine “real world” prints, drawings, paintings, and designs into sometimes startling combinations. I suppose I should call myself a mixed media artist, but it seems only fair to list the media I’m mixing. The works I’m presenting are combinations of monotypes, gelatin plate monotypes, woodcuts, drypoints, collographs, drawings, paintings, and solar etching—all exploring different kinds of abstraction.
