Summer of 2015 I made a painting a day...at least one, sometimes more. Each was made with acrylic paint on small 6"X6" wood panels or blocks. My artist blocks. I made them to loosen up and overcome the frustration of "an artist block". It worked...I made 80 panels that summer. Each unique and a meditation on the morning. They were not preconceived, but came from someplace far outside myself or maybe deep within... I am exhibiting them here along with the paintings that subsequently grew from this experience. |
