Parrish Dobson has photographed in New England, Europe, Costa Rica and the American West for over thirty years. Her expertly printed color and black and white prints convey a deep respect for the quiet and the essential mystery of the land. Recent projects include a series entitled "How the Grass Lies Down" (landscape),"Flying By" shot from a moving Amtrak train with an IPhone camera, and "The Touch of a Distant Hand", a still life series of well used kitchen objects and tools. Also available to see in portfolio is the series "Inside Time", shot mostly in southern France. She teaches Photography in the Arts Department at the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, MA. |
