For the first time in years, I’m not opening my studio this year as part of Somerville Open Studios in May 2015. I hope you’ll take a look at my website. You’ll find a new series called Woodland Light. These images were made within or at the edge of wooded areas. I am interested in the high contrast between light and shadow as sunlight falls through openings between trees limbs or travels though vegetation, illuminating the undergrowth, making leaves translucent or filtering through a screen of opacity.
