Karen has been doing mosaics since 2006. A former quilter, she has always been interested in putting patterns and colors together. She now uses a combination of tesserae for her mosaic work- glass and mirror tiles, tiles with bling such as glitter glass, smalti, natural stones, and found objects. She particularly likes making functional mosaics such as mirrors and tables.
