I started my business in 2011 because I painted a portrait of my sister's miniature schnauzer and she absolutely loved it. It is such a unique and special gift to give someone that I knew there would be a market for pet portraits. After over 400 portraits since I started, I have greatly improved as an artist, and I am excited to start working on more original artwork this year! I market myself through "live painting," by setting up my french easel on location at pet stores, dog parks, and busy city streets all over the country. I am always looking for ways to collaborate with other artists. I love the marketing aspect of my business and I am currently training to become a professional art conservator. I hope to be a resource to many artists hoping to grow their businesses and those interested in the preservation of their art! |
