I love the tactile quality of clay! I especially like the slower creative process of hand building;starting with a basic form and letting the shape gradually happen on its own, often revealing a completely unexpected result.

Later on I began making mosaics. There is something very fulfilling about taking isolated beautiful objects and putting them together to make a new whole.
