After eleven years of founding and running Blue Cloud Gallery, Ball Square Somerville, I turned my hand to learning metal smithing. After two years of concentrated study and practice, I began selling my jewelry in craft fairs and stores. My focus is to make textured, layered, wearable pieces. I get a lot of joy in joining diverse metals and textures to create a harmonious whole. I have studied at the Brookline Arts Center, North Bennet Street School, and the Haystack School for Crafts among other schools. Some juried shows I have exhibited at include: the N.O.S. Fall Juried Show Art Fest, ArtBeat, Brookline Marketplace, and Celebrate Newton. |
