I discovered painting at 46 while taking a class with my daughter at the Katherine Martin Widmer school of painting. Painting provides me with an expressive medium that centers me as much as does my music. I would describe my style as realist, with a goal to always push my boundaries. My paintings develop over weeks or months, and I consider them ready when you no longer feel you are looking at a painting on canvas. |
